FREIGHTS.

-The general-cargo-discharged-forl Hong Kong during the week-end was good, but through freights showed a very high total. Thirty- three arrivals and thirty-seven de- partures were shown, of which Afteen arrivals and departurea were British.

Saturday's Statement. Fourteen arrivals and "eleven de- were reported for the partures. period ending 9 a.m. on Saturday, of which five arrivals and four de partures were British. Imports were only moderate, but through freights were good. Ten vessels discharged 9,504 tons of general merchandise for this port, of which three British ships contributed 2,058 tons. The two best returns were from the sis Clara Jebavn (Danish) from Saigon with 2,902 tons: and the s.s. Kayin Maru (Japanese) with 2,023 tons of cargo from Dairer and, Weihaiwe. Six vessels carried

total of 22,323 tons

of earge, for through ports, of which 7,210 tons were carried by two British ships. The s.. dtlas Muru (Japanese) was shown as best carrier with 2,593 tons "from Bremen and Singapore. The City of Mobile (British) was next best with 7,000 tons from Dairen and Shanghai..
