[Br NEON.1

The Daily Mail" recently published the following article on the Graf Zeppelin flight from the pew of Neon, whose book, "The Great Deluge," aroused considerable controversy at the be ginning of last year. The identity of Neon has never been publicly disclosed.-

Neon's thesis, was that the novelty of fight has led to an immende over-estimate of aeroplanes, and particularly airships; the author brought scientific and practical evidence to show that, whether from a commercial ar" military point of view, the great expenditure of money and effort on serial development, which is everywhere projected offers no prospect of results proportionaté to the cost.

MISTAKEN IDENTITY.

A remarkable case of mistaken identity was revealed at the Old Bailey last manik,

Alfred George Weston, aged 35, an engineer, was charged before the Recorder, Sir Ernest Wild. with obtaining by a forged

money order.

Mr. Percival Clarke, prosecuting, said that it was alleged that Weston went to the White Bear Hotel, Headon, and had a conversation with Mr. Duncan, the, manager. about Canada. Weston was ins troduced to Mr. James L Lavelle, and the two went to buy a second hand motor car. They returned to the hotel and Weston then vnsked Mr. Lavelle to cash him a money him £4 and promised to give him the remainder three days later, but Weston did not come back.
