In the Second Division both the Chinese Athletic and the Quera's defeated their opponents very heavily, the Queen's making a record score of seven goals.”

HOME FOOTBALL RESULTS.

HEAVY SCORING IN THE TWO LEAGUES..

BLACKBURN DEFEAT EVERTON CHAMPIONS.

the Home football on Saturday was marked by heavy scoring, most notable of which was the success of the Rangers over St. Johnstone in the Scottish League by 8 goals to mil, la the First Division of the English League, Aston Villa, playing at 'home, accounted for Bury by 7 goal to 1. In the Northern section, Bradford City returned with score of 8. goals to 9 in their match with Ashington.

There were also several upseta of form. In the English League, the beroes of last year's Cup final, Blackburn, defeated Everton champions by the add goal in three. Teams in the Scottish League also had some hard struggles in which Eve of the Clubs shared the points, while Ayr United nearly succeeded in bringing about another draw in their meeting with Clyde. The Rangers, so far unbeaten, ousted St. Johnstone by" netting B goals with giving any away. Motherwell were played to a good draw by the old warriors. TAIKOO DEFEATED,

Civil Service, who were one of the contenders for the junior champion- abip the Lawn Bowls League, and incidentally looked, for pro- motion to the senior division where the Club lost their place, were pub out of the competition un Natur- day when they were beaten by Recreio B at King's Park by the narrow margin of one shot.

Recreio "A" defeated Taikoo com- fortably, and may, now be looked up as the champions of the junior divion. Thić kucemas will give them a place in the senior division brat season. Taikoo now have a chance of drawing level with the points standing at present to the credit of Recreio only if they wis their remaining two matches and Recreio lose their last match, which. is with the Yacht Club, a very remote possibility.

On the Kowloon C.C. ground yesterday, the Club de Recreio

defeated Kowloon Docks Recreation Club in their Spey Cup tie by 7 shots.

Kowloon Docks were down during

the early part of the game, but were able later to pass their opponents, a seven in one end helping them gut. The tide turned in favour of Recreio when they scored a five in the fourteenth head, which gave them the lead by two shots, and in a subsequent bead they scored three.
