Of the eight arrivals and sever departures, one arrival and two de partures were British. Six vessels discharged a total of 7,711 tons of which the ss. Chip Shing with 2,030 tons of general cargo from Tongku and Weihaiwei was the only British contributor. The 3.5. Corona (Nor- Wagian) with 3,910 tons of coal from Chinwanto was hest varrier.
Three
ssels carried 2,936 tons of through cargo, and again the "s.s. Chip" Shing" was the only British vessel. The best return was from the 3.3. Kumakata Moru with 1,300 tons of coal from Keelung.

Local imports were good, while the through cargo was above the average. There eighteen arrivals and twenty depar tures of which eight arrivals and seven departures were British ves- gels.

Sixteer vessels discharged a total of 14,190 tons of local imports of which 2,513 tons were contributed by six British ships. The best car- fier was the ss. Bukesan Mary with 4.324 tons of coal from Milke. and the s.s. Helois (Norwegian) from Bangkok and Swatow bad 2,168 tons of rice.
Eight vessels carried 11,651 tona of through cargo of which 9,300 tons were contributed by six British ships. The two best carriers were niso British ships. The Bramac
hi from London and Singapore carried 5,080 tons of general cargo, and the 5.5. New Mathilde from Haiphong and Hoihaw had 1,300 tons of general cargo.
