TWO OTHER MACHINES DOWN.
Many thousands of people watch- ing the air maneuvres over Lon- don last evening, says the Daily Mail of August 17th, witnessed a pilot's dramatic escape from blazing aeroplane.

The machine which was forced to came down near Graya, Essex, was a Fairey III. F. bomber be longing to No. 207 Squadron, stationed at Eastchurch, Sheerness. While it was engaged in a raid on the Royal Air Force Stores at Kidbrooke, S.E., the oil pipe broke, but the pilot, Flight Lieut. G. M. F. O'Brien, landed the machine without mishap in a field of beans at Stifford.
The pilot's face and clothing were smothered with oil.
