PUTS BLAME ON HIS BROTHER.
When the trial was resumed at the Criminal Sessions yester day, before Mr Justice P. Jacks-of-Fok-Chung-Yuen-on chargea of torging his father's signature and detranding the Bank of Canton, an apparatus was produced in Court by means of which fotgeries can easily be traced from genuine signatures. Details of how it works are given below. It was not used in this case with marked success according to an expers who pointed out many discrepancies between the supposed signature of prisoner's father on a deed of assignment by means of which the alleged fraud was perpetrated, and genuine signatures on other documents.
Defendant in his evidence-in-chief declared that he merely witnessed the heed when it was presented to him by his brother with his father's signature already on it.
