BASEBALL NOTES. Give him the bill and the fans will see some daisy pitching such as Hong Kong has never seen be fore.
SOME VIEWS AND REVIEWS.
[BY C. L. C.]
Hong Kong baseball fans are no doubt pleased to see a visiting team in Hong Kong, and although the Shanghai players are not to the "All be compared with Filipino Star" and the "Hono- lulu Chinesé," they are very fair combination. It must, how ever, be admitted that they were lucky to dispose of the "All Hong Kong Nine" and the U. S. Nuvy."
В
Talking about the "All Hong Kong Nine," the line-up left much to be desired. Proulx at third coat the Hong Kong side no tower than two runs, and Terry Leonard at first cost another run when he threw wild to third. The Shang- hai team is not as good is the first division teams in the Colong, but playing against a mixed-up aide, they certainly had the advantage.

As I said the Shanghai team is nothing out of the ordinary, and was lucky to beat the US Navy in the last of the seventh frame. I am confident that they will lose to the Filipino and the Dragon outfits, and that the local Ameri- cans will also give them a good ran" for their money. If Ruffin should be pitching for the Hong Kong Americana, the chances are that the visiting team will lose.
