The 5 Batoc (Dutch) from Amsterdam and Cheribos discharged 5,500 tons of sugar and meal. The .. Michael Jebron (Danish) also had 2,307 tons of rice and general cargo from Saigon and Hoihow.
Ten yessels carried 27,194 tons of cargo for through ports Five British ships carried 4,420 tons, and again the best returns were shown by foreign vessels. AMEMCAN SEAMEN SENT TO GAOL.

The three seamen concerned in, the recent trouble aboard the ss. David C. Reid whilst the vessel was berth- ed at the A.P.C. Installation at North Point on July 7th appeared before Commander J. B. Newill, R.N., D.S.O., at the Marine Court yesterday morning. A full account of the proceedings appears in au- other page of this issue.
