Local imports from nine vessels totalled 7,388 tons and two British vessels contributed 1,270 tons. The best cargo return was shown by the sa. Azyumosan Mary with 3,000 tons of coal from Hakodate and Miike, while the President McKinley from San Francisco and Shanghai discharged 1,878 tons of general cargo."

Through freights amounted to 23,198 tons, and two British ships contributed" 0,290 tons. The best carrier was a British vessel, the 3.5. Antilochus with 8,830 tons from Liverpool and Singapore. The s Tottori Maru from Calcutta and Singapore had 6,236 tons.
