The Dragons' 'Joss. Talking about good joss, the South China Dragous certainly got their full share of it on Saturday. They were outplayed by the Club from the very beginning. Their battery-the two Lecs-were badly of form, and their third baseman, June, muffed badly. Tom Chian, at first base, could not be said to be minding his territory too well.
The Club secured three runs. in the first canto through Muccio, Burrell and Russikoff. Lee, the Chineso twirler, walked no fewer than five men in this frame. The Club batted nine men and the Chi- This nere only three and no runs. showed the strength of the two cup- tending teams at the opening.

These incidents were again seen on Saturday.. Up to the sixth innings, the Americans were leading by two runs a pretty safe' lead, with only one innings more to go The Dragons got their joss in the seventh innings. Muccio went into bat for the Club and swung a hefty one to right. It looked a dead certain home run for Muccio, for K. Chino, playing in that territory was badly beaten by the ball, and it was just their luck when an Indian constable, whose duty was to keep the crowd back, took a hand in the game. He netually fielded the ball for China, and Muccio wa Athen forced to park at third.
