CHELSEA LOSE LEADERSHIP, OF SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.
MANCHESTER CITY ON TOP.
Three matches, ope in the Southern section and two in the Northern Section of Division III., were postponed in an otherwise fall programme in the English and Scottish Leagues on Saturday, Huddersfield and Shefeld United, who have still to decide which of them shall meet Blackburn Rovers in the final of the F.A. Chelsen lost the premier place in the Second Division League. Manchester City are now lenders with the same number of points but they have two snatches in hand and a better goal average. Preston and Leeds United also take precedence over Chelsea on goal average.
In the two sections of Division III.. leaders remain the same although Bedford lost to Doncaster. The second highest score of the day was accured by Tranmere who defeated Darlington by seven goals to three in the Northern section.

In the Scottish League (Division 1.), Motherwell lost to Partick and stand in danger of losing their leadership. Their close rivals are the Rangers and Celtic, Cup finalists, who were in win- ping form in their League toutches..

HEADMASTER WINS THE VETERAN'S RACE.
The dull weather did not "mar the Annual mecting of the Queen's College Sports held on Saturday at. the School's ground at Causeway Bay. The majority of the competi tors ran their races, and in spite of the weather the meeting was a success. Ground conditions spoilt any chances of records, but quite i good times were established.
The Senior Championship of the College went to Kung Ping Hoi of class C.3B., while the Junior Championship was won by R. N, Azim. of class 3NC.
Mr. Crook, the headmaster of the College won the Veteran's Race, while Mr. Chin Ho Ping, ran u good second being closely challong ed by Sgt. Marriott, the boxing instructor of the College
The prizes were very kindly pre sented by Mrs. Lea Hysan, who in turn was thanked by Mr. Crook for her presence. Thanks were also extended to the officials for their Correct-willing help to make the meeting a

Mr. Lea Hysan then addressed the big gathering and Mr. C. G. Anderson translated his speech. Mr. Lee Hysan impressed upon the boys the big part sport played in their education and the amount of time given by their masters in instructing in this department of education. He concluded by re- minding them that they would not do better than keep to the slogan "Play the game all the time."
Class F3A were presented with the volley ball prize, and class F2B were runner-up. The Sir Paul Chater Cup for the Hundred Yard's Sprint was presented to Kung Ping Hoi.
