During the tea interval, Mr. Brown, of Messrs. Butterfeld and Swire, presented to the Chinese Re- creation Club a silver cup in appre- ciation of the latter's loan of their ground to the Hong Kong Bank, Messrs, Butterfield & Swire and Messrs. Jardine, Matheson for their inter-hong fixtures.

At King's Park, the Royal Navy 2nd XI, drew with the Civil Service 2nd XI. The Navy batted first and declared at the eighth wicket for 150 runs. P.O. Orchard just failing. to reach the half century mark with 40 runs. For the C.S.C.C., Dewitt took five wickets for 56 runs
