The leading sporting event to-day is the Second Extra Race Meeting of the Hong Kong Jockey Club at Happy Valley Rapier's selections appear in another column-Also of Interest to riding circles is the. Fanling Hunt meet at. Wen Ha at 8.30 to-morrow,
Though the cricket season is near ing its close there are some inter- esting matches, including those in which four of the Colony's leading clubs are engaged-Kowloon 1st XI. P. Craigengower and the Club v the R.G.A.
The football programme is espe cially interesting. Details of the lengthy fixture list and prospectr of the teams are all given in on- other column. Most of the leading teams are engaged and those old rivals China Athletic and the K.O.S.B. again try conclusions.
The yachting events are the Tri Yat Cup racing yachts) and a Menagerie Race this afternoon, while to-morrow is that popular -fixture Club 1. Ladies.
The Golf courses will be full as usual, provided the weather holds. Sunday's starting times at Fanling are given elsewhere.
