FEWER ARRIVALS.

There were only nine vessels are riving into the Harbour during the 24 hours ended at 'ba,m, 'yesterday, Freights brought for the Colony and other parts were below the

average.

There were only 6077 tons of general cargo discharged here, of which, 3,073 tons were from British

bottoms.

The two best returns were 2,150 tons by the s. Buenen from Hai- phong and 1989 tons carried by the Tattari Maru, from Calcatta and Singapore.

Through freights amounted to 9,547 tons, with only 2,000 tons car- ried by two British ships.

The Tattari Muru carried 3,817 tons from Calcutta and Singapore. and the other four-figure retures was 1758 tons by the Benarty from London and Singapore!
