Tim public rooms are luxuriously appointed and Inviting.
All startrooms are outside, splendidly furnished and equipped with beds-nót berths. Each room has hot and cold running water, also fans, wardrobe, thermos bottles and reading lamps. Private bath and showers in conacation with many rooms perfect the travel comfort of these giant passenger liners.
The Cuising is world famous. The deliciously prepared menus will delight you. And how the orchestra adds zest to your dining.
The decks are spacious. The Glan-enclosed Promenade always popular. Desk sports, apen air swimming pool, movia, evening dances,-everything has been done to make your trip a happy one. Unexcelled anywhere—is the courteous and efficient service accorded you by the trained personnel aboard the President Linces,
The great frequency of sailings and the liberal stopover privileges of the Dollar Seamship and American Mail Lines have made these glanc passenger liners our standingly popular among travelers.

PASSENGER TRAFFIC,
PASSPORT CHECKING AT PENANG.
Owing to the fact that a large number of passengers for Singapore have not been accounted for "the authorities at Penang, when steam- Cera arrive, now require that if any persons go on board they will not be allowed to return to shore until all passports have been check- ed. As this takes a considerable time with a large passenger ship some residents who have been on board ships to meet friends ́have found themselves held up rather in- conveniently. Now that the system is known, however, there should be little further difficulty as the neces sity for checking passports is under- stood.
