PASSENGERS.

It is a portrait of J. X. Niépce, one of the inventors of photography, taken by Professor Goldberg, of Dresden. To be seen it has to be looked at through a microscope.

The actual photograph is so.smail that more than 100 of the same size would ot be crowded on a small pinhead. It has to be mugri- "fied 100,000 times before it becomes a distinguishable portrait of a man about au méh square,

In another room was a photo graph auout sin. by 7-in, which shows the whole of New York, it includes 30 square miles of territory and was taken at a height of 12,000-ft., or more than two miles.

It is claimed as one of the out- standing technical achievements of the year, and it is almost bewider- ing in the complex and minute de. tails t shows, One can distinguish clearly sky-scrapers, bridges and streets.
