The Port Works Department re- serves to itself the first right of purchase of the copyright of all exhibits that are intended for sale. The Department may also publish a booklet of the exhibition and will not grant payment to exhibitors for any reproduction in such booklet.

The Department invites exhibits for a special section for portraits, pictures and paintings, etc., in oils, water-colours, etc., sketches, en- gravings, photographs, and other reproductions of historical value, old or modern, regarding Mano and the Far East. The Department undertakes to insure against loss. upon the owner's application and free to owners, any picture of valus.
