Additional details have now been given of the giant all-metal Super- marine-Napier #ying boats which are to make a trip, in October, to Singapore, with an extended cruise in Australian waters Wing Com- mander Cave Brown Cave will be in charge of the venture, and four planes are to take part. These air- craft, when loaded with fuel, turn the scale at over hine tons, about half of which will be petrol. With a range of 2,300 miles, they could . easily cross the Atlantic in a single non stop journey They are to be equipped with both cooking and sleeping accommodation.
