Sanjin Maru; and 555 tons of onions and cotton goods by the sis. Sado Marn from Shanghai. This ahip also earried 4,401 tons of lard, nut oil and cotton goods for other pirts.

The total number of Asiatic deck passengers brought into the Colony was 1,453.

Arrivals And Departures. During the period in question the Larrivals and departures were as follows:-British, 12 arrivals and 10 departures: Japanese, thrro arrivals and three departures; | Norwegian, 'one departure; Chinese, two arrivals and two departures; German, en arrival and two de- partures; Italian, ons departure. Total number of vessels in port, 67, with British, 31.

Yesterday's Returna.

There wr 16 arrivals and 15 departures during the 24 hours ended at 9 aan, gesterday, as con pared with Saturday's 18 arrivals and 19 departures. The Calony's imports during that time were 9,180 tons out of a Üstal tonnage entering the port of my,pel. Of this 2,372 tous were carried in British bot Toms. Only one British steamer, the s.s. Kuachow, carried cargo fur other ports.
