The freight returns for the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday gave very low figures both for the imparts of general merchandise inte the Colony and cargoes enrried for ports beyond. The total, however, came up to five figures taking the miscellaneous shipments together,
There were 10,940 tons of freight entering Hong Kong. Of these, Where were only 1,547 tons of general Cargo, which were discharged from five steamers. There British vessels accounted for 1,213 tons..
