The Home English Football League programma "oficially " concluded on Saturday.

In Division I Newenntle are Champions with Huddersfield, last season's winners, runners-up. 11nd- dershield on Saturday drew with the Villa and Newcastle were beaten by Leicester City West Bromwich and Leeds United go down to the Second Division.

In Division II. Middlesborough go up as Champions, and are accom- panied by Portsmouth, оп goal average. Although Manchester City scored eight goals without reply from Bradford City, Portsmouth made sure of promotion by scoring live against Preston North End.
