News has reached the Colony that the river, steamer San Ning (aot to be confused with the Navigation Co'a Sunning) is delayed at Wu- chow, on the West River, owing to a minor boycott. For about a year after the strike began in Juffe, 1925, the San Ning lay idle. Then she was sold to new owners at Canton. The fag was changed to Chinesa; and she was put on the Canton- Wuchow run. After the settlement of the boycott last October, she was re-sold to Hong Kong and reverted to British registry. The Anti- Foreign Society at Wuchow la alleged to have started a boycott from against the vessel on account of her
flying the British flag.
