The Colony's imports amounted to 93,399 tons of general cargo, of 4,515 tons were discharged 4 British veselss. The best return was 3,400 tons brought by the ss. Jau Sang, from Sandakan.

Through cargoes, which were manifested on 6 steamers, amounted. to 90,760 tons Of these, 7,985 tons were carried by two British vessels. The British steamer Gleniffer, from Otaru and Shanghai was respon- sible for 7,800 tons. The next best return manifested was 4,604 tons carried by the 's. Trier (German)

from Bremen,and Singapore,

During the period under there were 21 arrivals and 15 de partarea. Shantung (British) arriving here yesterday from Shanghai and Amoy brought 330 tons of general cargo for. Hong Kong, and 185 tons for poris beyond.

Arriving here yesterday from New York and Manila, the s.8. City of Calcutta, brought 700 tons of general merchandise for local dis- charge.

The British steamer Glenifer which came into pors yesterday from Otaru and Shanghai dis- charged ton of general enrge at this part, and carried 7,800 tons through cargoes.

The Indo-China vessel Mau Sang from Sandakan came into port yesterday with 3,400 tons of general cargo for local consumption,

The Trier (German) arriving hero yesterday from Bremen and Singapore unloaded 1,107 tons of general cargo here, and carried 4,604 tons for ports beyond Hong Kong.

The total number of deck passen- gers entering Hong Kong during the 21 hours ended at 8 a.. yester day was 1,074.

The Empress of Asia, is due here at 3 p.m. to-day and will berth at Kowloon Wharf, Pier No. 6.
