There was a total of 16,577 toas of general esrge discharged here, of which, 3,156 tons were from 4 British steamers. The two best re turns were 2,060 tons and 1,683 tons The former were unloaded from the Sanko Maru which came into port from Keelung. The latter were ex Toyo Mars from Chefoo.

Through freights amounted to 15,199 tons. Of these 4,824 tons were. manifested on.4 British vessels. The two steamers carrying the best the s.s. Mongolia cargoes were (British) and the Dutch vessel, Tleboet, Both carried 4,000 tons each; the former vessel was from London and Singapore, the latter from Dairen and Amoy.

During the period under review, there were 21 arrivals and 18 de partures. Their nationalities were:

For causing an obstruction in the barbour by going abreast of two other launches alongside the 8.8 Tjikembang, the master of the steam launch Kwong Chow was fined $3 or three days' hard labour at the Marine Court yesterday morning.
