The RM.S. Empress of Canada, which has been in dock for the. annual overhaul and to receive her new coat of paint, left the dock yesterday morning and went for a trial run round the island. She went alongside the Kowloon wharves at about 3 p.m., and will leave for Vancouver vid ports on Wednesday} next at daylight.
