MARINE COURT.

Before L-Comdr. G. F. Hole, R.N., at the Marine Court yester- day morning, the master of a trad- ing junk was fined 815 or 2 weeks' hard labour for failing to exhibit regulation lights. In another case the mistress of a passenger junk, pleaded not guilty to tiring up bor craft to the a.s. Cremer, while the steamer, was underway. She was fined 810 or ten days' hard labour.

The L. Sweden Maru, arriving from Antwerp and Yokohama, yes terday brought-tons of general cargo for local discharge and manj- fasted 6,750 tons for ports beyond. In addition to the cargo, there were 3 cases of pistola, 20 cases of am- munitions, 20 drums carbolic acid, 12 drums chloroform, 2 cases of sparklers, 3 cases of gas parts, 550 cases Chlorate of potash, 1 case of Chloride of iron and packages of phosphoric acid.

The British vesels Lompot, which came into port yesterday from San Pedro discharged 9,565 tons of oil fuel here.
