SHIPPING NOTES.

Deck passengers entering into Hong Kong during the 24 hours ended at 9am on Sunday totalled 1,2, and the total number which came into port yesterday was 476.

The ax Tjismdari, arriving from Sourabaya on Sunday brought 1,295 tons of sugar for local discharge.

The week-end freight returna The Norwegian steamer Vaud, made to the Harbour Office showed which came into port on Sunday that imports into the Colony and from Kamfa Port, brought 2,200 tons of coal for Hong Kong and cargo carried for parts beyond carried 1,000 tons for Canton, Hong Kong were normal. Although 1 British steamers arrived hers daring the week-end, the tonnage carried by them did not exceed 1,000 tons.

Sunday's Statomania. The returns during the 24 hour ended at am. on Sunday showed that 13,845 tons of general mer chandise were imported into the Colony, of which, 9,740 tons ware from British bottoms. The only heavy return was showed by the Jara (Danish), which came into part from Copenhagen and Singa pore with 997 tons.
