BOTH CLUB TEAMS LOSE,

K.O.S.B. RESERVES DO WELL

Both the Club teams were dolented in the League on Saturday, one team losing to the China Athletic and the other to the K.O.S.B. Reserves.

The Club de Recreio won their games

Hongkong Club. China Athletic There was a good attendance for this game on the H.A.F.C. ground, China pressed at the stars when give and take play characterised the game and the first half ended without any score.

China Athletic "A r. St. Joseph's Three pensities, one only converted, were the outstanding featured in the game between the above teams on the Club ground, the match ending in a win for China by three goals to one. The China forwards played the better game in front of goal and Lee Chi Hing gave them the lend. Before the final whistle sounded Pan Kah Chun scored China's third goal.

In view of Recreio's continued success in the senior division of the Hongkong Football League, especial interest was shown yesterday in the opening_matches of the first division at King's Park. The Club de Recreio, playing their last three matches on their ground at King's Park, have won them all, and on Satur- day the South China team went down by three goals to one though it was well on in the first half when. Goiano scored for the Recreio. Fuertes added another before half-time.

"In the second half South China pressed but after a good clear by Silva the home team then attacked and Brown sent in a fine centre from which Fuertes scored.

DIVISION II. “A."

Club da Recreio Reserves v. South China Reserves.

This game at King's Park was won by the home team by ive goals to mil. Mauricio, at centre forward, scored three goals and Rocha two. Sonth China had a-weak side, and were forced to play on the defensive. Mauricio opened the score early in the game, and Rocha added a second, and before the interval Mauricio acored again.

Crossing over three "goals up, the Recreio continued to press Mauricio" scor=" ing his third goal of the match. Just be- fore the final whistle sounded, Mauricio slipped the ball to Rocha who scored the fifth and last goal.

X.0.3.B.'s Reserves v. Hongkong Olub

Reserves.

The visitors arrived at Sookunpoo one man short and went down by six goals to one to the K.O.S.B's second team. The military forwards aboved plenty of dash and but for the sound defensive play of Hill and Purvis, the socre against the Clab would have been much heavier: Tool opened the score for the home team following a corner kick well taken by Craig, and McGovern gave Slipper no chance with a quick return. The Club opened the second half with plenty of dasb, but, with four forwards only, failed to maintain it. Tool scored again for the home team and added another goal shortly after. After White had failed to score from an easy position, Johnstone came through and slipped to Vickers who beat McDougal in goal. Alexander and McGovern put on further goals for the K.O.SE.'s who won by six goals to one. !!
