[PROM OUR CHINESE CORRESPONDENT, ] By: recent order of the Kuomintang in Canton, all the village and merchants' corps, although nancially maintained by local communities for self-defence, will have to come under immediate Kuomintang direction. The Ruomir tang intend to open a short term military school for training officers for these corps, giving them knowledge of Tang principles as well as military science. The districta have no faith in this emingly reasonable action and are re- fusing to report their arms and men for inspection.
