Yesterday's shipping statement showed, that the number of vessels in the harbour at 9 ... was 71, of which 24 weto British.

During the twenty-four hours ended at a.. yesterday teen vessels arrived, viz.-four British, one German, and two Japanese Over the same period thoro were bight departures, thess being as under:For Saigon, one Norwegian for Haiphong, one Chinese; for Shang hai, ono British; for Amoy, one British; for B'ton, one Dutch; for Singapore, one British and one Japanese; for Takao, one Japanese. There were two clearances during the same period, a Japanese steamer for Shanghai and a British steamer for Kobe.
