SHIPPING NOTES.

The around-the-world tourist liner Ba Franconia left Hongkong last even- ing to resume her cruise after being in this port sines, last Monday. The Franconia's next port of call is Shang- bai and from there she proceeds to Japan, thence to Honolulu and home to New York vtâ. Panama.

The Fatihan has now completed 8,000 trips, which means that she has j covered approximately 500,000 miles, since being place on the run between. Hongkong and Canton

The Tenyo Maru, which arrived in port on Thursday was the first of the late T.K.K. vessels to be taken over by the N.K.K

The total number of deck passengers entered for the 24 hours ended at 9 am, yesterday, was 2,933, the largest entry being one of 2,579.

Tho death occurred in South Kensing ton on February 18th of Commander Preston R.N.B., late Commander of the PAL OF CO.
