CEREMONIES AT TAIKOO AND KOWLOON DOCKS. 10% Yesterday two locally built vessels were launched-one at the Taikoo Dock yard and the other at the yard of the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Co., Ltd.
Both launchings took place at the same hour, viz. at five o'clock.
At the Kowloon Docks, Mrs. Clementi, wife of HE the Govercor (the Hon. Mr. Cecil Clementi, C.3.0.), performed the ceremony of launching the Sing wo, built to the order. of the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co., Ltd., for the Middle Yangtze river service; while at Taikoo Dock, Miss Stirling, daughter of Commodore A. Playing in the Senior game in the final tie of the United Services Compétition. yesterday, the East Surrey's had an easy win against the RA, by 7-1.
