SATURDAY'S LOCAL MATCHES.

On Saturday there were four League cricket watches played, three in the first and one in the second division. The re- maining four fixtures were friendlies.

Decisions ware reached in all the first league games, but in the second division the University 2nd XI, had the C.S.C.C. "A" drew.

HE.C.C.. NAVY.

This match was played on the H.K.C.C. ground, where the home Club went down to the Royal Navy, who won by 78 runs with two wickets in hand,.Their

victory was largely due to Woodward, who took Twickets for 41, runs. The H.E.C.C. made exactly 100 runs, of which A. Ha- cock contributed 27. When the fifth wicket foll the Navy bad passed the cen- tury and their innings finished with 158 runs for eight, wickets" Halsey (49) being the highest scorer,:/:
