RESULTS OF PLAY IN LOCAL. CHAMPIONSHIPS.'

The Kowloon Bowling Green Club, being the mother Club of the Colony, and Mr. Stephen being an honorary member of it, it had been decided to present them to that Club. The bowls as set would make a very handsome ornament and would be a very pleasant reminder. of the late Mr. Stephen. (Applause.) He had always been a most génial and most generous minded gentleman who took a great interest in bowls all over the Colony, He (the speaker) had much pleasure in asking Mr. Farrell to accept these bowls for the Club.

"Mr. FARRELL in gratefully accepting the gift for Club, said the Club would cherish the memory of the late Mr. Stephen by placing the mounted bowls in a prominent place in the Club. house. W
