It should be kept on record as it will always be useful for reference purposes.

Captain Irvine's fine seamanship, coupled with the calm effeiency of the entire crew, prevented anything in the nature of a panic, and, though some women remained up all night, most of the passengers seemed rather to enjoy their novel experience.
Considering the difficulty of moving about and the violent manner in which such things as chairs alid here and there, the number of accidents was remarkably few. About 30 passengers and members of the crew received injuries of one kind

"GUILTY BUT INSANE."
TA. Towers, who shot the Captain of the C.P.R. Jélita some weeks ago, has been found guilty but insane and was ordered to be detained during His Majesty's pleasure.
Evidence was given that there had been disputes on the Melita and suspicion rest- ed on the accused for making a report to headquarters about the Captain behind the latter's back.
[Towers, aged 58, a Bristol man, was Chief Officer of the Jirlita. He shot thi Captain, while he was in his cabin, and severely wounded two other officers. Ho was returned to England from Antwerp, where the tragedy occurred, under arrest, and at subsequent proceedings in the Southampton Court it was stated that the prisoner had expressed his intention of shooting the Captain. The Prosecuting Counsel expressed the opinion that Towera was suffering from the idea of per secution and from brooding over his lack of progress in the service. Medical evid ence was given that Towers was physically fit and mentally sound:]
A FIFTEEN YEARS'OLD MONARCH.
GREAT GOLD CROWN ON HEAD
A Cairo message from Luxor last month stated that the feet of Tutank hamen, which were the first part of the 19- mummy to be uncovered, are reported to confirm previous theories that the king was no more than fifteen years of ago when he died.
It is a most wonderful discovery. There is a great gilded or gold crown still on the head, but it has not yet been fully unwrapped.
