The sailors, who had been assisted with players from the Ambrose, were forced to look put for now men owing to the departure of the ship to the North. From the kick of it appeared that Kowloon were out to win by a fair margin, but they counted without Handford and Ball who played a sound game through- After several attacks by the home team, the sailors got away and McBrinn, seizing his chance, sent the ball goal wards. It landed in the net, having pre- viously struck Duncan's leg. Duncan seemed to make no attempt to clear. and appeared surprised when the ball struck bim and rebounded into the net. The goal put Kowloon on their mettle and they renewed the attack with vigour, but Handford and Ball were safe, and any shots that got by them were dealt with successfully by Wavish, who was applauded for his exhibition in goa!..

Robinson gave the Re- serves the lend from a penalty after three minutes' play, and Norris put theta further ahead. Before the interval the Drums levelled up, goals being scored by Muffect (2). The second half was well contested, each side straggling hard for the lead. Within ten minutes of the close Ridger scored for the Reserves, who won by the odd goal in three.
UNIVERSITY. SACRED HEART.
On the St. Joseph's ground the Police just managed to get home against South China "B," scoring in the last ten minutes cf the game. The first half was very well contested and at the interval the score sheet was blank, although South China appeared to be the better team.
After the change of ends the Police the game for a little weight throwing went out to win and at times sacrificed However, the South China goalkeeper was in good fettle and kept out, shots from all directions Not until the clos. CLUB DE RECREIO “B” .. SOUTH
CHINA "A
The surprise of the week in junior foot- ball was the defeat of South China."A" by the "B" team of the Club de Re- creio by a goal to it. A fortnight ago Bouth China beat Club de Recreio "A" by two goals to one and last week Club de Recreio "A" beat their "B" team by twelve goals to one, so it was odds on that South China would win this week by a large margin, but they had to admit defeat to a much improved "B" team.
