The annual meeting of the Hongkong Book Club was held last evening in the Sanitary Board Room. Dr. W. W. Pearse presided and there was a fair attendance of members. Dr. Pearse was re-elected President of the Club whilst Mr. Charles Gerken was heartily thanked for his ser- vices as Hon.
