The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Snowden, in reply to Mr. Ormsby-Gore, who had asked for the estimated value of the deliveries either in cash or kind by Germany to Great Britain, France, Belgium, and Italy, respectively, on "account of reparations and cost of mili tary occupation since the date when France entered the Ruhr up to the end of 1923, circulated the following statement on March 4th
1. No cash payments were made by the Germo Government on reparation no count during 1923, beyond the payment of the six months' Treasury Bills issued to the Belgian Government in respect of the last five-monthly payments for 1922, which fell due during 1923.
2. The deliveries in kind made by the f German Government to Great Britain, France, Belgium and Italy respectively which have been notified to the Repara-- tion Commission during 1923, were as follows
