KOWLOON. POLICE.

In this return match played on the Kowloon ground the Polico took their revenge for a one to nil defeat last week. Mair acted as deputy for Swan in goal and at the final whistis was undefeated. Ho played a good game and proved a stumbling block to the Kowloon attack. The open- ing play was greatly in favour of the home team but the forwards could shoot straight and several good chances were lost. McKelvis tried to pull his team. together but the forwards could not westio down to anything like combination and the Polico defence cleared easily. The first goal came through fine wing play on the park. of Simpson who ended a sprint' đơwn the wing" by a perfect centra, and "the" bali dropping close in Johnson turned it past Stewart. : Kowloon were unlucky to be a goal down 'but the Police before the inter. val put on another through a mistake by Millard who failed to hold Stewart on the wing and the latter going down dribbled to the centre when be sent the ball flying. | into the net. ** TAMAR "*. R.G.A.

On the Garrison ground at Bookunpoo these teams played their return match and the game ended in win for the Tamar by three goals to one. Woodman, late of Kowloon was in goal for the sailors, Routley, playing out in the forward line. Smith came from the right back position to lead the attack which appeared to be a drastic change But eventually proved to be a sucaSS

The soldiers took up the attack but were repulsed and the sailors going down forced a "corner from which Oxland opened the score for them.”

The game after this went in favour of the Tamar and in another ten minutes Veness had scored their second goal beating Ansell with a fast low shot.
