The voting was by secret ballot, and the majority required for the election of a State was twenty-four The result was as follows:- Uruguay 10 Brasil, 34; Belgium, 22; Sweden, 30 Czecho-Slovakia,

30; Spain, 30; Portugal, 17 Persin, 14: Chian, to chi Netherlands, 4; Switzerland, 3 Chili
