Thero is in Bhutia Basti, Darjeeling, a large Tibetan Monastery known as the Sangs Shetrupling Monastery, a queer looking edifice, probably as old as Darjeeling itself, decorated with Hons rampant and dragons with gaping mouths and contorted bodies, defending its doors or ornamenting its walls.
