The fourteenth annual athletic sports meeting of the Chinese Y.M.O.A. was held on the Bace Course at Happy Valley on Saturday afternoon, when some excel- lent fast foot racing was witnessed. Some of the times recorded compare very favourably with those registered at the Far Eastern Olympiad. During the low hurdle race one of the competitors, Young Ping Kwai, running third, fell heavy at the penultimate hurdle, and sustained two simple frac tures of his right forearm. Dr. T. P Woo, president of the T.M.C.A. rondered first aid and the unfortunate young man was carried off to hospital by the boy scouts.

At the conclusion of the racing the prizes were presented to the winners by Miss Woo, daughter of the president.
