THE ADMIRAL LINE.

THE KEYSTONE" STATE'S SECOND VOYAGE.

The Admical Line's' news bureau as Seattle says:

With a capacity cargo, which included the unusual ito of two measurement tons of silk worm eggs from Italy, con Signed to Yokohama, the Admiral Liner Krystone State sailed for the Orient on ita second voyage November 5th. The abip carries approximately 520 steerage passengers, but the first canin list is the fighest since the Trans-Pacific service from Puget Sound was established. This is attributed entirely to the effect of the threat of a national railroad strike dur ing the latter part of October,

Scores of reservations were cancelled during the period of negotiation between the railroad unions and the Railroad Labour Board, when it seemed certain that all the transcontinental lines would be tied up. A settlement was reached only a day or two before the strike was scheduled to become effective, October 30th, too late for prospective passengers again to change their plans and renew their passage bookings.

The ship's cargo is made up of flour, steel, salmon, milk and lumber, with a considerable tonnage of miscellaneous merchandise, incuding drygoods and shoes consigned to Japanese and Chinese ports.

There is also a large consignment ot apples bound for Mania. THE ADMIRAL LINE'S 'NEW SHIPS.
