SHIPPING NOTES.

Captain F. W. Wiso, who for many voyages has acted as Brst officer of the China Mail str. China, has taken over. command of the vessel from Captain C. J. Lanester, who is reported to have been pppointed Bar Pilot at the port of Saa Francisco,

It is stated that the names to be allotted to the new series of "K" boats which are now under construction for, the China Navigation Co. are as follows:-Kalgan, Kiangsu, Kiungchow, Kundgchow, Kuangtung and Kueiyang.
