THE “AQUITANIA."-

THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, THURSDAY, JULY 15TH, 1920.

The work of reconditioning, the Cunard. liner, Aquilania, which was begun, towards the end of last year by Messrs. Sir W, G. Armstrong. Whitworth, and Co., Limited, is now nearing completion. An important. part of the work has been the installation of oil burners to take the place of coal fuel." Thh is expreted to bring About greater efficiency and to reduce the personnel: of this engine-round from 350 to about 50. | When the Aquitania returns to her trans-' Atlantic service it is probable that other ships of the Canard feet will be similarly dealt with in the matter of oil fuel.
