held over FAN LING during the Easter week-end, i.s., 21st to 24th April, 1916-

FOR HES. ACompetition will be held on Friday, 21st inst.

Conditions:-18 holes Medal play under handicap.

The best 18. cards returned in this Com- petition will qualify to play off in a MATCH PLAY COMPETITION which will cominance on Saturday morning and. finish on Sunday afternoon; two rounds of 18 holes each to be played both days. In the Medal play stage a Prize will be given for the best nett score returned, and one for the best scratch score returned. In the Match play stage the winner and runner- up will receivė prizes.

Entrance Fee $1,00..

The draw for Friday's play and the times of starting will be published in this paper on the 20th inst

An 18 holes Tombstone" Competition will be held over the RELIEF COURSE on Saturday, 22nd inst

For the purposes of this Competition thes Ladies Bogey" will be considered Tas 90 (18 holes). Competitor adde her Handicap to the "Bogey" score and when she has played that number of strokes (i.c.. 56 prus hancheap) she places a peg, bearing herhause where her, lest shot finishes. Care shoukt be taken to assure that the exact number of strokes is played. The score for each hole is to be marked on the card.

Competitors have the option of co peting in the morning or afternoon, and may play the 18 holes straight off, or 9 hoes at a time. Competitors must arrange with whom they shall play.

Entrance Fee $1.00,
