LARCENY ADMIRALTY STORES.

ALLEGED

Five Indians, one a Sergeant in the Hongkong Police, another a Sergeant in the Royal Naval Dockyard Police, and three watchmen, employed by the Admiralty, appeared before Mr. F. A. Hazeland yesterday, and were charged with the larceny of large quantities of Admiralty stores from gunboats in the Harbour. Two of the men were on their: way home to India when they were arrested at Singapore.

Mr. Johnson (Messrs. Dennys & Bowley) prosecuted, and Mr. J. H. Gardiner represented the defendants.

The case was adjourned until Monday next.
