"It is something to know we can now meet the enemy on an equality or, should I say, superiority. Certain it is that we have played the very devil with the Germs us aince these guns have come up. They don't like them a little bit. They are mighty thunderers I can tell you, and their range is wonderful. We are certain ly making a move in the right direction. but what we wish to do is to make a really big advance so that we can put these guns of ours more amongst them. They are those of us who have been told off to handle regular rippers, and no mistake, and them are proud indeed. What we want is vengeance. It nearly makes one's heart break to see many poor women and child- ren walking the streets who have had their houses blown to pieces. But through these guns of ours will come revenge.
