6-Shipping Companies and Ships' Officers must send to the Post Office ALL correspondence. except bona fide Consignees letters pested in the Ships Letter Boxes or received by Bhip Officers at the porte from which they railed, or anywhere en route to Hongkong. 7.The bore regulations will not affect the licensed Private Letter Boxes carried between Hongkong and Crnton by the vestela telonging to or managed by the Hongkong, Canton and Macao Steamboat Co.
War risks are not covered by Postal Registration or Insurance. Until further notice the Names of the Vessels by which Malls are forwarded will not be advertised in the Mail Notices.
Correspondence (including parcols) is being despatched as opportunity offers; but all Services are irregular and uncertain and all correspondence is liable to delay.
The Parost Post Service to Egypt and countries beyond served by Egypt in Southern Europe is for the present suspended.
The Service to Tsingtau is suspended.
A late Mail for Swalow, Amoy and Feech will in future be closed for all Dongiss Steamers 20 minutes before rach atramer tails, crdinery corresprudence will be received after the regular moil has clceed at the side west ratxonce to the G.PO, in the lane off Des Fear Road.
The ENGLISH MAIL is due to arrive here on Saturday, the 3rd inst,, at about noon.
The Kanchow, with the MAILS FROM LONDON (via Siberia) of 26th August to lat September, is expected to arrive here on or about the 4th lust, via Bwatow,
