EXTRACT FROM LETTER DATED 9TH MAY, 1914, FROM SECRETARY. GENERAL POST OFFICE, LONDON.

Ou and from the ist of this month, the trans-Siberian Express Trains will leave St." Petersburg at 835 m. on Tuesdays and, Fridays, and Moscow at 95 pm, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

In compliance with a request from the Russian Post Office that Malls should be for- warded from this Country for conveyance by each of the four trains referred to, it has been arranged for Mails for the Far East generally to be despatched hence on Sundays at 9.55 a.m., for conveyance via Flashing and Moscow on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9.05 pm., for conveyanc via steud and Bt. Petersburg; and on Wednesday at 2.05 p.m., for conveyance vin Ostend and Moscow. The new arrangements commence to-day.
